By using Animaruni, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Animaruni is a community-built anime tracking and discussion service. We're an independent operator and are not affiliated with AniList, AnimeThemes, or any animation studio, publisher, or rights holder. Catalog data is sourced from the AniList API, and theme-song titles from AnimeThemes; both remain the property of their respective rights holders.

You're responsible for activity under your account. Don't share your Google credentials, and let us know if you suspect unauthorized access.

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users
• Post or link to pirated content
• Scrape or abuse the site in a way that disrupts service for others
• Attempt to bypass rate limits or access controls

Anime catalog data belongs to its respective rights holders and is sourced from AniList, with theme-song titles from AnimeThemes.

Content you create on Animaruni — posts, comments, ratings, and your library — remains yours. By posting it you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and display it as part of operating the service. This license ends for content you delete, except where it has been reshared by others or retention is required by law.

You are responsible for what you post. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate the acceptable-use rules above or the community rules, and we may preserve and disclose content where required by law.

Animaruni is free to use and is funded by affiliate commissions and donations. We may also display third-party adverts. Some outbound links to retailers — today, our links to Amazon — carry a tracking tag, and if you buy something after following one we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

Earning a commission never changes the catalog data we show, the scores we display, or the order of results — all of that comes from AniList and is unaffected by any commercial relationship. Any adverts we show are labelled as advertising, and the affiliate links described in this section are disclosed here and in our privacy policy.

We are not the seller. Anything you buy from a retailer we link to is a contract between you and that retailer, on their terms, and we are not responsible for the product, the transaction, or their handling of your data. What advertising and affiliate partners collect is described in our privacy policy.

Animaruni is free to use. If you choose to donate, payment is taken by a third-party platform — Ko-fi, Buy Me a Coffee, or Patreon — under that platform's own terms, and we never receive your payment details.

Donations are voluntary gifts, not a purchase. They are not tax-deductible and non-refundable, except where required by law or by the platform's own refund policy. Donating does not buy any product, feature, support commitment, or influence over the service, does not remove advertising, and creates no obligation on our part to keep any particular feature running.

The service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Animaruni disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Catalog data is supplied by third parties and may contain inaccuracies. While we work to keep the service available, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Animaruni's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is greater.

You can stop using the site at any time, and you can delete your account yourself from your profile page — it takes effect immediately. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date in the header above.
